Time-lapse Travels

Over the past year or so, I have been taking these time-lapse videos just for my own personal enjoyment. after my trip to Canada, I was inspired to assemble them together. I threw in a favorite of mine, Radiohead... well, here ya go.

Iron Giant

One of my favorite Canadian bands... Iron Giant was back this year for an encore performance on the 'Harbor Queen'. Their classic 'southern deep fried' sound was an early welcome home indeed. I had almost forgotten how dope these guys are... and I was quickly reminded why they've been on my ipod for almost a year now. Anyway, check em out.

Canadia

Wow, so today I had quite an interesting trip into Halifax Nova Scotia... so before I start this story, I just want to say a few things... I love Canada, I love Halifax... the people here are awesome and this city is so damn clean it makes me ashamed to be an American slob.


But...getting into Canada as an American tattooer is just about impossible. I was detained for almost 2 hours as an angry immigration agent hellbent on sending me back home, went through ALL my personal belongings, followed by a line of questioning I thought was reserved for hard core criminals and the like. They removed my memory cards from my cameras to look at the photos in private, they went through my personal computer files and external hardrives. She even Googled my name to see if that would help her find a reason to deny my entry into the country. They checked my sunglasses and toothbrush for drugs and explosive residues... and as I stood there watching other americans ushered right on in after a 5 minute quick search of their bags, I started to feel like maybe I had been singled out because of my visible tattoos, who knows.

Needless to say, I made it through, but man... I have never in my life been made to feel more like a criminal. So staying true to form, tonight I will eat some stale bread, drink some tap water... and watch me some trailer park boys... cause I love me some Canadia!

I uploaded a few new pics so be sure you check them out. I've also been busting ass on building the section of this site that will allow you to book, and manage your appointments online. Yep, you will be able to book with me right on this site, as well as upload reference images, and view emails we've traded.

This feature will be going live on May 12th.
